My name is Giacomo and truffle is my way of living.

I’m not a chef. I don’t come from a family of truffle hunters.
But at a certain point in my life, I realized that flavour, the land and the woods were my path. That’s how Tartufo Amore Mio was born: from a true choice and a daily passion.

The turning point

12 years ago, I changed my life

Up until 12 years ago, I was a government employee. I had a safe and stable job, like many others. But I felt it wasn’t my path. At 35, I decided to bet on something I was truly passionate about: nature, the woods and truffles.

I live in Cortona, between Tuscany and Umbria

This land is enriched by traditions, landscapes and authentic flavours. It’s here that I walk, observe, gather, and select every day. My connection to this land is deep: I live here, I work here, I believe in it. And I want every customer to feel a bit of my land in every product.

Every morning, the same mission: to bring the most refined taste on your table

There’s nothing industrial about my work. Every day, I receive the fresh harvest from local truffle hunters. I hand-select it, process it in the workshop and prepare it for shipping.
I personally take care of every step. In addition, I work with small shops, chefs, delis and restaurateurs who want to offer their customers a genuine and artisanal product with a real story behind it.

Because this job means love, not only products

Tartufo Amore Mio was created from the desire to make truffles accessible, understandable, and part of everyday life. Not a luxury, but a pleasure. Not a trend, but a tradition. With my products, I aim to offer simple yet authentic experiences that reflect me, my land, and my way of living.
