I’m not a chef. I don’t come from a family of truffle hunters.
But at a certain point in my life, I realized that flavour, the land and the woods were my path. That’s how Tartufo Amore Mio was born: from a true choice and a daily passion.
Up until 12 years ago, I was a government employee. I had a safe and stable job, like many others. But I felt it wasn’t my path. At 35, I decided to bet on something I was truly passionate about: nature, the woods and truffles.
There’s nothing industrial about my work. Every day, I receive the fresh harvest from local truffle hunters. I hand-select it, process it in the workshop and prepare it for shipping.
I personally take care of every step. In addition, I work with small shops, chefs, delis and restaurateurs who want to offer their customers a genuine and artisanal product with a real story behind it.
